Heart of a Hobbit: 2021 Schedule, Pt. 1
Hello everyone!
I have outlined my plans for the Heart of a Hobbit episodes (over on the LOTRO twitch channel – https://www.twitch.tv/lotrostream) for the first half of 2021, so here’s what I have in mind:
Thurs March 25: Spring Festival! We’ll do some quests, such as Where the Rare Flowers Bloom (Bree) and A Shortage of Boots (Festival Garden in Duilland) and some Shrew stomping while we’re there. Plus, we’ll take Rosenbleume through the Inn League initiation, but we’ll probably turn off Post Processer Effects. 🙂
Thurs April 1: Spring Festival final week and Hobnanigans!
Thurs April 8: No festivals so we’ll look at some other content, including any viewer requests. Rosenbleume has been feeling more Hobbity, so we’ll go though how to use a race change token! I’ll also show how to create more chat tabs and how I have mine set up.
Thurs April 15: Another non-festival week, so we’ll take a look at any questions that have come up, and possibly check out the newest area, the Wildwood.
Thurs April 22: Anniversary Event will be live! So many things to see and do! It’s also Thrimidge, the 5th month in the hobbit calendar, so I expect we’ll be extra Hobbity!
Thurs April 29 and Thurs May 6: More Anniversary Event goodness!
Thurs May 12: Unless they extend it, this will be the day after the end of the Anniversary Event, so we’ll do some other wanderings.
Thurs May 20: Similar to April 15. No festivals this week, so we’ll spend time with top requests and some landscape questing.
Thurs May 27: Buried Treasure Hunt event! We’ll go spend time with those diggy, diggy dwarves.
Thurs June 3 & 10: No events, so more top requests, quests, and maybe we’ll do some Hobbit birthday celebration, i.e. giveaways!
Thurs June 17, 24, July 1: Midsummer Festival is live! It’s time to check out Minas Tirith, even for the lower leveled folks. We’ll follow a few options for optimal paths and of course check out the new items.
Part 2:
The second half of the year will bring us the Farmers Faire, Tale of the Shipwrecked Mariner, Baggins’ Birthday, possibly more Buried Treasure with the dwarves, Harvestmath, Durin’s Day, and Yule Festival! And there’s always the possibility of an encore of a previous festival when there’s an open week, so we’ll keep our ears open for bonus festival-y goodness.
So many great things for us to see and do in 2021! Thanks for coming along on the journey!
